Derby Museums support young people to achieve their full potential through active engagement in purposeful projects, through work experience, work placements and co-production volunteering, to develop their experience, knowledge, skills and confidence. 

Are you aged between 15 and 25 years? 

Do you want to help to make Derby Museums more relevant for young people?

If so, we would love to hear from you and invite you to be part of our Young Co-Producers’ Network. The network is an opportunity for young people to grow their confidence, aspirations and engagement whilst helping to develop Derby Museums’ exhibitions, digital content, activities, events and practices to make them more relevant and meaningful for today and future generations.

Derby Museums offers tailored work experience opportunities to excite, engage and inspire. Learn about a range of departments including our fascinating collections, front of house, marketing and more whilst working within our teams to help make Derby Museums more engaging and relevant to young people. Learn valuable new skills whilst being part of an exciting and vibrant workplace.

Work Placements
