Session Description: Knock on the door, come in and play! Pickford’s House has had many families live here over time, and in this curious and interactive session your learners will discover how the different children’s way of life compares to their own. Starting with the Pickford’s family, your learners will explore a timeline of toys from Georgian and Victorian toy theatres, world war train sets, 1970’s tiddlywinks and modern garden toys, learning about events in history that caused change, through making and playing!
