If you are between the ages of 12-16 and you enjoy craft and making, you can join our free, Summer Club, here at Pickfords’ House!
In this session, you will learn the basics of Character Design – you will develop a character using inspiration from our temporary exhibition at Pickfords’ House Lara Croft: 30 Years On – From Derby to Global Icon , based on Lara Croft who was designed right here in Derby! The session will be delivered at Pickfords’ House and members will work with an artist to create your very own character.
This session will be led by artist Carla Dee, local artist/illustrator (instagram: @lovelalalanduk) who has a distinctive, bright and bold style influenced by popular culture, street art and character design.
