Join Derby Museums for a Summer of Making, Creativity and Play. Young people will explore our amazing collections and exhibitions through working with staff and fabulous artists and makers to get creative and explore themes such as Egypt, Our City, Home, Traditions and Play.

We look forward to welcoming young people aged 9-14 years to the Museum of Making, Pickford’s House and the Museum and Art Gallery, as well as exploring other cultural venues in the city.

*Free activities will be available for families in Derby who are eligible for benefits – related free school meals, we will also provide a healthy and nutritious meal from our award winning River kitchen.

We are also offering paid spaces on this programme please select the paid for ​option at the point of payment. Please bring your own packed lunch with you on the day.

These activities will take place during the Summer holidays in 2024, starting the week beginning July 30th every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 10am – 2pm. To book a place you will need your child’s unique HAF code which your school will issue. Additional paid spaces will be available for £20 per day.
