The Aurora Prize for Writing 2025 comes to its dramatic conclusion this November with a live, in-person and FREE to join awards ceremony in the heart of the East Midlands.
Winners in each category will be announced and their awards given to them on stage by this year’s judges: Joelle Taylor and Irenosen Okojie.
In addition to readings from each of the winners from their award-winning pieces, Joelle and Irenosen will offer a short introduction to their careers in the industry as well as their advice to writers in attendance on the evening.
After the winners have been announced, readings have concluded and speeches have been made, there will be space to network. The venue bar will be in operation throughout the evening. Toasts will be made and glasses will be raised to the winning entries!
Whether you entered the competition yourself, or you just want to spend an evening in the company of award-winning writers, come suited and booted for a vibrant celebration of this year’s Aurora winners!
