Creative Makers is a relaxed and welcoming group for adults over 50 years interested in making and learning new skills.
Collectively they create work together, support each other through friendship and creative ability and always welcome new members.
Sessions are weekly, sometimes self led – so please bring along a current project you are working on, led by group members, led by visiting artists, creative professionals, or linking to Derby Museums current programme of work and activities.

5th March – For International Women’s Day make Empowering Butterflies with Spiral Arts
12th Mar – ‘Something with paper’ led by Hazel
19th Mar – Poetry Books led by Claire
2nd April – Pyrography with Derbyshire dales wood craft
23rd April – Bring your own project
30th April – Paper string basket – Led by Lu
7th May – Electro Embroidery led by Claire Remer
This is suitable for adults over 50 years. Places are £5, you can book in advance or pay at our first floor shop at the Museum of Making.
