In this interactive talk Gloria Mazzer, will showcase how she is solving some of challenges within the fashion industry, and help you to understand the deep link between the food and fibre production, discover real-world examples of regenerative design and material innovation, circularity and biomimicry. You will be able to sample and explore innovative yarns and fabrics that combine wool with natural materials like nettle, hemp, lotus,yak, etc. There will be active discussion of how soil health, biodiversity, and fair supply chains can reshape fashion.
Gloria has worked for global fashion brands and now runs WovenBeyond, an ethical and sustainable yarn brand for hand knitting and crochet.
