Introduction to Blacksmithing

Have a go at Blacksmithing with professional Blacksmith Jack Sampson!

Jack Sampson is a professional Blacksmith who will be hosting a short introduction to Blacksmithing. Participants will get an insight into a working forge and Jacks work. You will then be invited to get the feel of the hammer and the heat from the forge as you take a step behind the anvil to have a go.

No prior experience needed. Suitable for children age 8+. All children must be accompanied by an adult. Booking essential.

Please note this activity is aimed at young people and their families, so a basic introductory level. But not exclusive to young people.

Please note: Thick cotton trousers, such as jeans, are recommended and a non-synthetic long-sleeve top. Long hair must be tied back.
