Perfect for Transport topics and learning about events beyond living memory (NC 2014), your learners will uncover the fascinating story of many flight pioneers, and role play Alcock & Brown’s momentous feat of successfully flying non-stop across the Atlantic Ocean in 1919 using The Roll’s Royce Eagle engine, now found on display in our gallery!
Learners will then take on their own trans-Atlantic mission completing a KS1 STEAM Paper Plane Challenge!
