19TH CENTURY SPLENDOUR IN DERBY’S FORMER CENTRAL LIBRARY
In the heart of the city, the Museum and Art Gallery is home to a fascinating range of significant collections, which make for a variety of unique event spaces. The stunning red brick Grade II Listed Museum and Art Gallery on the Warwick, designed in 1876 in Flemish Gothic style, is a new and stylish addition to the offer.
ICONIC RIVERSIDE LOCATION IN THE HEART OF THE CITY
Derby’s iconic Silk Mill stands on the site of the world’s first factory and is the gateway to the Derwent Valley Mills UNESCO World Heritage Site. This Grade II listed building opened as the Museum of Making in 2021, to celebrate 300 years of making and innovation in Derbyshire. This impressive 18th Century building offers a stunning industrial backdrop for your event on the banks of the River Derwent.
Architect Joseph Pickford’s 18th Century town house is a celebration of Georgian living, complete with stunning furniture and fittings. The beautiful gardens are perfect for summer parties, and the property makes a charming location for more intimate gatherings. The Great Dining Room offers a unique fine dining experience, while the Top Gallery offers a versatile hire space.
