Creative Makers is a relaxed and welcoming group for adults over 50 years interested in making and learning new skills.
Collectively they create work together, support each other through friendship and creative ability and always welcome new members.
Sessions are weekly, sometimes self led – so please bring along a current project you are working on, led by group members, led by visiting artists, creative professionals, or linking to Derby Museums current programme of work and activities.
Weekly themes:
29th October – Catch up session. Time for working on own project
5th November – Field of Fashion recycling woollens with Rachael
12th November – 22nd October – Continuing work on the group ‘Dare to Dream’ banner as part of Derbyshire Makes.
19th November – Sashiko stitching with Lu.
26th November – Earthbound Exhibition activity with artist – Sally Matthews
3rd December – Field of Fashion recycling woollens with Rachael
10th December – Christmas Craft with Charlotte
17th December – Christmas Fuddle
This is suitable for adults over 50 years. Places are £5, Please pay at our first floor shop at the Museum of Making.
