Martin Postle will present highlights and case studies from ongoing research for his forthcoming catalogue of Wright’s oil paintings, soon to be published by the Paul Mellon Centre.

Based on painstaking archival research, a review of existing literature, new insights, and a thorough examination of known and newly recovered works in public and private collections, the catalogue covers Wright’s entire painted oeuvre, including portraits, landscapes and subject pictures.
