As part of ‘The year of Joseph Wright’ Derby Museums invites you to a series of specially curated artist talks and lectures about the life and work of Joseph Wright, exploring new and ongoing research from leading professionals across the country.

Joseph Wright Rediscovered – a series of talks organised by Derby Museums and the Paul Mellon Centre for Studies in British Art.

The series of events will take place on Thursday afternoons from September to November 2026 from 3.30pm onwards at The Wardwick at Derby Museum and Art Gallery.

This ticket will give you access to all talks for the reduced rate of £90, saving £15
