The National Space Centre is coming to Derby for one day only, and you’re invited!
The StarDome is a Portable Planetarium, which recreates a dark night sky with hundreds of brilliant points of light splashed across the inside of the dome. The stars are projected into their positions for any time of the year, they’re guaranteed to amaze and educate!
The StarDome is coming to Derby to celebrate our exhibition Wright of Derby: From the Shadows, where you can view Joseph Wright of Derby’s famous ‘A Philosopher Lecturing on the Orrery’ painting, which features a mechanical model of the solar system, called an ‘Orrery’.
Suitable for families, all children under 10 must be accompanied by an adult in the dome.
