Half-Day session (3 Hours) – Up to 15 people £198.00 +VAT

Join us at the museum and develop your sewing skills. In this open-ended session, you will use the galleries as inspiration and explore different textile skills starting with simple sewing and advancing to our electro-embroidery activity, combining technology and craft skills.

Activities include –

Simple Sewing Skills – Sewing on a button, darning and visible mending to make our clothes last long into the future.

Embroidery Skills – Introduce simple embroidery skills to embellish your clothes or make something new altogether.

Electro-Embroidery – Design and create your own individual piece with a sew in battery, LED light and conductive thread, thinking about the science of electricity to influence their stitch and create a workable circuit.

HOW TO BOOK:
