Derby Museums Invite’s Young People to Join our 2026-2027 Craft & Making Summer Club Sessions!

If you are between the ages of 13-16 and you enjoy craft and making, you can book to join sessions at our Summer Club, here at the Museum of Making!

The Craft & Making Summer Club will be delivered between our three Museums Sites, with access to the Studios and Workshop facilities. Sessions will be delivered by talented local Makers, the staff at Derby Museums and will be supported by current creative students studying in Derby, who will all inspire our next generation of makers in a safe and welcoming space.

Sessions will develop creative, technical, and practical skills aligned with Craft practice and careers. Attendees will be introduced to materials and processes linked to Derby’s extensive Industrial and Creative Heritage in weekly sessions of their choice.
