As 2024 draws to a close, here at Derby Museums we are reflecting on a year of challenges and triumphs. It’s been a difficult year for many of us, despite this, there has still been plenty to celebrate. We’ve held fantastic temporary exhibitions, brought popular events back to Derby, acquired new treasures for the city and welcomed record numbers back to the Museum of Making when it reopened post-flood in January.

We have enjoyed spending time with you all and welcoming you to our events and activities. We want to say the biggest thank you to all of our generous supporters and funders, your unwavering support and love for our museums means the world to us.

There are more challenges on the horizon, but for now, please watch our 2024 recap and join us in raising a glass to toast the end of the year.
