From £25 a year, you can choose a bird from our flock on the walls of the Museum and Art Gallery. These birds celebrate our wonderful natural history collection and champion the support of people like you.  

Remember a loved one! Whether your loved one simply enjoyed bird watching, or has a special connection with our work, we appreciate all supporters who choose to support us in this way. Please get in touch if you would like more information about donating in-memory. 

Every day amazing things happen at Derby Museums. Over 200,000 people visit us each year to be inspired by our collections, exhibitions and activities. Your donations help us to pay for our learning and activity programmes for children and families. Every year we raise over £200,000 to make this happen.  

Here are examples of what your donation could do: 

– £25 could buy materials for our museum trails and activities 

– £50 could pay for activity materials for our under-fives sessions 

– £100 could help fund community outreach activities and SEND sessions 

– £250 could help to conserve a painting from our visual art collection

Birds will be selected at random, but requests can be considered subject to availability. Available bird species are robin, puffin, kingfisher, hummingbird, owl, blue parrot and peregrine falcon.  

Peregrine falcons are to celebrate supporters who generously give £250 or more.
