Making a donation in memory of a loved one is a special way to celebrate their life and support a cause they loved.
Derby Museums exists because of the passion and generosity of those who came before…
People like Sir Michael Thomas Bass, brewer and city MP.
People like Alfred Goodey, artist and collector.
People who understand the value of our heritage, and care about sharing it.
People like you and your loved ones.
Thank you for thinking of Derby Museums at such a sensitive time and for considering donating in such a special way.
Many people choose to commemorate the life of a loved one by asking for donations rather than flowers at the funeral or memorial service. Most funeral directors will help you collect donations in lieu of flowers, handling the administration for you and passing on the donations to us.
Some prefer to raise funds in a loved one’s name by setting up a memorial page. MuchLoved makes it easy to create a Memorial Tribute Page that can raise funds for Derby Museums. We are always grateful for these special donations. No matter what size, these gifts will help Derby Museums continue our work for the benefit of future generations.

We ask anyone who is donating in memory to include their name and address so that we can confirm receipt of their donation. It is also helpful to include the name and address of your loved one to ensure that we can account for all donations made in memory of that individual.
