Inspiring exhibitions, fascinating collections and a year-round programme of events and activities, which provide engagement for over 200,000 visitors of all ages and abilities. The enjoyment of visiting our museums is made even more exceptional by our Visitor Experience team who go out of their way to make peoples day.

We are looking for happy and energetic people to join the team and help celebrate and share the many inspirational stories within the galleries. As a Visitor Experience Assistant you will have excellent communication skills and will love having conversations and making connections. An eye for detail and a positive, proactive attitude is a must, as well as being absolutely committed to ensuring everyone enjoys their visit to any of our museums.

We are recruiting to our casual pool of Visitor Experience Assistants which can include weekday and weekend working. You would be part of a fantastic and friendly team, responsible for welcoming visitors to Derby Museum and Art Gallery, Pickford’s House or the Museum of Making.

All salaries will be based on the current National Minimum or National Living Wage.
