Every month, we will be sharing stories and makes from our busy Workshop.
The Workshop is home to our Technician team, Volunteers and many Makers. The Workshop is public, available for all to use and is situated in the Museum of Making, in Derby. We have facilities for woodwork, metalwork, jewellery-making, ceramics, CNC machining and more. Makers create everything from bespoke speakers to custom tools. As Technicians, we work with our Volunteer team, on projects for the Workshop and Derby Museums’ sites.
Every day in the Workshop is different, and we have many interesting moving parts.
